10 Gifts For The Home
A gift guide for the homebodies.
I think the best gifts are something someone would never buy themselves, but they’ll end up using almost every day. This is usually clothing, accessories, or skincare products…but what about something for their home? Personally, I think a gift for the home is the most thoughtful, it has the potential to elevate your lifestyle after all. Whether it’s a new fragrance, a new lighting option, or even a simple decor piece that matches their personality, homeware can be the most meaningful gifts. Here’s 10 of my favorites.
Meraki Scented Candle

A scented candle is great because it directly influences the user’s senses, I think it’s also one of the first things you notice when you walk into someone’s home. With scents like Oud Leaf, Fresh Linen, and Dark Wood, these candles are perfect for everyone’s aesthetic.
Mushroom Lamp

A piece out of my own home, and something I know you’ve seen before. This is a staple piece that’ll almost always be appreciated, plus it comes in multiple colors so don’t be afraid to choose something other than the classic orange glow.
Taschen Books

Taschen is THE coffee table book author. With their collection that ranges in topics, sizes, and prices, there is almost always going to be something for everyone.
Atlas Bookstand

If you’re getting a book, now you need a unique way to display it. The Atlas Bookstand holds up your new piece while also saving where you left off, it also lets people know you actually read the books you get.
Mini Desktop Ninja Trash Can

Trash cans without a lid are gross, nobody wants to see that. This little guy solves that while also adding some new character to your space (no pun intended). I personally like the green one, but they come in multiple colors too.
Cast Iron Skillet

Ok…this one might be a little niched but hear me out. Anyone who cooks needs a cast iron skillet. Not only does the non-stick surface get better with time, the kinds of foods you can cook on this thing are so versatile. I have one, Gordon Ramsey has one, you need one.
Umbra Casa Tissue Box

With the temperatures getting colder, I find that my nose is running a little more than usual. Although I like using tissues, the box art on some of them don’t go with the aesthetic of my apartment, enter the Casa Tissue Box.
Flip Calendar

Calendar’s are kind of outdated, but I think it’s just because we don’t have a fun way to display the date anymore. The flip calendar adds an interesting aesthetic to the room while also creating a fun daily routine. At least with this you KNOW they’ll be using it daily.
Smiski Blind Boxes

These little guys are great if you want to get something lighthearted without it being a big deal (literally). They come in multiple series, I personally like the museum collection, but there’s so much variety to collect you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Avocado Vase

I’ve never really seen a vase that showcases the uniqueness of growing an avocado tree, until I found this one. It’s easy to maintain, you get to watch it grow, and it’s relatively cheap for a unique vase. Plus, if you get the person an avocado, that’ll set them up for success.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading! I hope this list helps you come up with some unique gift ideas, maybe you found the perfect one too. I’ll see you all next week for some more recommendations.
